Three Club Grounds Across Istanbul
The Spanish Super Cup 2027 is played at three of Istanbul's club stadiums — one semi-final on each shore of the Bosphorus and the final in the north of the European side. Each ground has its own guide below.
Three Stadiums, One Tournament Week
The Spanish Super Cup (Supercopa de España) 2027 is not played at a single ground. The official schedule puts the three matches at three of Istanbul's club stadiums: the first semi-final, Barcelona against Atlético Madrid, at Chobani Stadium in Kadıköy on 2 February; the second, Real Sociedad against Real Madrid, at Tüpraş Stadium beside the Bosphorus on 3 February; and the final at Rams Park in Seyrantepe on 6 February. Every kick-off is at 22:00 Istanbul time.
That spread matters for planning. The two semi-finals are on opposite shores of the Bosphorus — Chobani Stadium on the Asian side, Tüpraş Stadium on the European side — and the final is a third journey again, to the northern edge of the European city. A supporter following more than one match crosses the city between fixtures rather than repeating one route, which makes a central base, with the metro, the tram and the ferries within reach, the practical choice for the week.
Which Ground Hosts Which Match
Chobani Stadium is the home of Fenerbahçe, a ground of around 48,000 in the Kadıköy district on the Asian side, a few minutes on foot from Söğütlüçeşme station on the Marmaray line and the Metrobüs. It hosts the opening semi-final on Tuesday 2 February.
Tüpraş Stadium is Beşiktaş's ground, opened in 2016 on the Bosphorus shore next to Dolmabahçe Palace, with around 42,500 seats under a roof. The Kabataş tram and funicular stop is a five-minute walk away. It hosts the second semi-final on Wednesday 3 February.
Rams Park is where Galatasaray play: a stadium of around 52,000 in Seyrantepe, north of the Maslak business district, with its own metro station on a branch of the M2 line and a motorway junction beside it. It hosts the final on Saturday 6 February.
A February Match Night in Istanbul
February is the coldest part of the Istanbul year — daytime highs around 9 °C, nights near 3 °C, and rain common through the month — and a 22:00 kick-off puts the whole match after dark. Warm layers and a waterproof outer layer are the practical minimum at all three grounds, whatever the roof cover, because the walk to the gate and the wait for security screening happen outside.
Each match ends around midnight, and a full stadium empties onto the same platforms and roads at once.
